The Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T is powered by an Intel Core i5 430UM processor. This new generation of ULV processor makes the notebook is one of the best performers on the market under a wing. Moreover, the 1830T offers a decent six hours of battery life.

Design
The Aspire 1830T TimelineX measures only 1.1 cm thick and weighs about 3 pounds. Given the 1830T is not very different from the netbook Aspire One looks like 721. However, it is a bit more difficult, however, that the powerful dual-core processor must justify the additional ounces.

Performance
The 1830T has a TimelineX GB 1.2GHz Intel Core processor and 4 i5 430UM RAM. This new generation of processors ULV provide a much better performance than the previous generation. In fact, the 1830T offers commendable performance in many benchmark tests. However, the starting time is average. The 500 GB 5400 rpm HDD takes only 1 minute and 20 seconds to boot Windows 7 Home Premium. ButThis delay is probably due to the fact that the Trial is preinstalled on the laptop.
Graphics Performance
The 1830T is no separate graphics card. However, the supply of graphics processor Intel HD with 128 MB of graphics memory performance rather good. The laptop also has an HDMI port for transmission of video on an HDTV.
Battery
The Core i5 version of the laptop is a decent six hours of battery life.
Verdict
The TimelineX 1830T is one of the bestultraportable notebooks on the market. It looks great, offers good performance and battery life is respectable. But at $ 699, it is certainly not cheap. So if you're on a budget, you can see the $ 599 Core i3 version of the 1830T. Alternatively, you can buy the $ 499 Eee PC graphics performance comparable 1201PN but offers less processing power and endurance.
